Black brahma
Oakwood Brahma Chickens are based in the West Norfolk countryside, their main passion is for Brahma hens (they have a large number in a variety of different colours of the breed) although they do keep a few Salmon Faverolles and Silkies as well.
Their chickens are not bred for a living however occasionally you will see a 'For Sale' page updated with their chickens for sale currently.
Brahmas are calm, friendly chickens that make good pets or exhibition fowl. They are not skittish or easily scared, making them a popular choice for families with children looking to keep a few chickens at home or raising chickens in the backyard for the first time.
Due to their docile demeanor, Brahma hens can be easily trained so that they can be handled by almost anyone. They should be hand trained when young because their large size makes them difficult to control in the early stages of training if they are full grown.
